林峰如願以嘗，奪得勁歌「最佳新人獎」金獎。

【明報專訊】去年演而優則唱的林峰，前晚於「2007年度十大勁歌金曲頒獎典禮」上勇奪「最佳新人獎」金獎，力壓銀獎得主陳柏宇和獲得銅獎的洪卓立，當宣布賽果時，林峰獲得台上的其他新人祝賀，而台下傳來歡呼聲之外，亦帶有少許噓聲。

問林峰有無因為噓聲不開心？他說：「我聽不到，頒獎時我只聽到歌手們叫我個名，多謝他們這麼惜我，我覺得今年的一班新人氣氛好好，上台時全部都拖手。」

Translation:

Fung won New Singer Award on Solid Gold Awards Ceremony. Others new singers also congrated him. He thanked them profusely. All of them were even holding each others hands on the stage.
