林峰如願以嘗，奪得勁歌「最佳新人獎」金獎。

【明報專訊】去年演而優則唱的林峰，前晚於「2007年度十大勁歌金曲頒獎典禮」上勇奪「最佳新人獎」金獎，力壓銀獎得主陳柏宇和獲得銅獎的洪卓立，當宣布賽果時，林峰獲得台上的其他新人祝賀，而台下傳來歡呼聲之外，亦帶有少許噓聲。

問林峰有無因為噓聲不開心？他說：「我聽不到，頒獎時我只聽到歌手們叫我個名，多謝他們這麼惜我，我覺得今年的一班新人氣氛好好，上台時全部都拖手。」
